  • Motor is working but the drum doesn’t rotate

This is a very common issue that is usually caused due to issues in the roller or due to a broken belt. The only way to resolve a broken belt is to replace it with a new one and as far as repairing the roller goes, they lose their grip due to being worn out. They also need to be properly replaced with the right roller in order to work properly. In order to replace the roller, open the front panel and access the roller, there you will have to remove the retention clip. Once you do that, remove the old roller and replace it with a new one. Don’t forget to refix the retention clip to its position.

  • Broken timer

If timer is broken, the drier may overheat or may not work at all as it is directly connected with the timer. In order to repair it, you need to gain access to the inside of the machine. Open the control panel and remove the timer knob carefully, now set your multimeter to RX100 and connect it with the terminals connected to your timer. If the reading shows infinity, your timer is now completely shot and is unusable. Remove the whole timer properly from the terminal and replace it with a new one.
