Putting Water In The Pool For The First Time – How To Clean It

After completing the installation of your pool, the next step is to fill it with the indicated water capacity for the model built and also make sure there are pool mats in front of your pool. A water truck must be contacted in advance to schedule delivery in the amount of water needed for the model you have chosen.

The first time, it is not so simple, but the resellers and the qualified installer hired already know the processes to be done. The first step is to clean the walls thoroughly and the bottom with edge cleaner in a suitable brush; never use metal brushes or abrasive sponges.

Then pour all the water, leaving a space before the edge. Afterward, do tests with the PH of the water, followed by initial treatment with chlorine, and turn on the filtration system. Filter for a minimum of 6 to 8 hours. Each size of pool has its flow capacity of the filter set (motor pump and filter) dimensioned in such a way that there is no waste of time and energy.

Filtering should be done every day. After these two steps, the ideal is to wait 24 hours for the installation and placement of the water to adjust to the shape of the pool. It is essential to take care of the cleaning and conservation of your pool, for that you hire a swimming pool, or if you choose to take care of yourself, follow some tips for maintenance and cleaning:

To Wash

This causes the flow of water to go the opposite way to that of the filtration, removing the residues left in the filter. Open the bottom drain (drain) and sewer registers. Close the remaining records.

Recircular

It speeds up homogenizing the chemicals added to the water and feeds hydromassage points, waterfalls, and fountains, without going through the filtering charge. Open the bottom drain (Drain), Aspiration, and Return registers. Close the rest of the records.

Filter

This function must be activated every day for as long as necessary. In winter, if the pool is not being used, filtration can happen every other day. Open the bottom drain (Drain), Return, and Skimmer registers. Close the rest of the records.

To Drain

Use this function, using a vacuum cleaner, to remove waste deposited on the bottom of the pool. Open the Aspiration and Sewer registers. Close the rest of the records. This function also serves to exhaust the pool when necessary. Open the bottom drain (drain) and sewage registers. Close the rest of the records.

Pre-Filter

Used for a few seconds after the “Wash or Backwash” operation, it prevents solid waste from returning to the pool when the filter function is activated. Open the bottom drain (Drain) and Sewer registers. Close the rest of the records.

Close – Use when the pool has been inactive for some time.
